The Cincinnati Civil War Roundtable is structured as a non-profit corporation for the purpose of fostering and promoting interest in and research of the scientific, literary, preservation, and intellectual aspects of the American Civil War period.

The organization operates as a tax-exempt, public charitable organization under the authority and obligations of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is a nonprofit corporation chartered in the State of Ohio.

The Roundtable hosts monthly speakers (excluding the months of June, July, August, and December) and is open to anyone interested in the study and preservation of the Civil War era. 

Membership includes both novice and expert participants, all of whom share and interest in the Roundtable’s focus on Civil War-related education and preservation activities.
